Suing Credit Reporting Bureaus to Undo Identity Theft Damage

Four years ago a thief stole Carol Mixon's identity and ruined her credit rating. She is a court reporter, working in Shreveport, LA.

The imposters were 500 miles away in Houston, Texas shopping on credit cards in her name. That was four years ago.

Her credit is still in shambles and the credit reporting bureaus refused to work with Mixon to remove the damaging information that she was not responsible for. When she applied for a mortgage the answer was: Forget it. She has been forced to sue the credit agencies because they refused to remove the false information.

There is no how-to manual for fraud victims for recovering from the crime and cleaning the mess.

We know its bad out there and it feels like you are alone. If you would like moral support, please come to our public forum.
