9 - Special Matters

Rule
9 states that certain special matters need special pleading (complaints
as well as answers) as in pleading with particularity.
What
are those exceptions?
Here's
a
list:
1.
Denial of a party's legal capacity to sue or be sued.
2.
The circumstances giving rise to any allegation of fraud or mistake.
3.
Any denial or performance or occurrence of a condition precedent.
4.
The existence of judgments or official documents on which the pleader
plans to rely.
5.
Material facts of time and place.
6.
Special damages.
7.
Certain aspects of admiralty and maritime jurisdiction.
