Al Seastrand Bio

Albert Leslie Seastrand, Jr., aka; A.L. "Al" Seastrand and Al Seastrand, is married to Loretta Seastrand and they have seven adult children.

Al and Loretta work in Sacramento City, but live in Sacramento County. He is purportedly 6'2," tall, lean body, with long brown hair that is graying, a mustache, and wire-rim glasses. Loretta is purportedly about 5'6", medium build, with sandy colored long hair. Also wears eye glasses.

People that have worked for him say he is intelligent and convincing. Seastrand is often seen hanging out at the county recorder's office, filing foreclosure documents, or looking for people in foreclosure.

Seastrand, the Hippie

According to Al Seastrand, he began life in Wichita, Kansas and became a hippie in San Francisco.

"When I was a kid in high school, trips to the city required a jaunt down Haight Street ("jaunt," not joint). Haight-Ashbury... At least I'd never seen anything like it in Wichita."

Records in the Sacramento Region show the Seastrands in Yolo County by the late 1970s in the small rural town of Broderick.

The Seastrands operate their many businesses in a small bungalow-style home turned office in Sacramento, near W and 16th streets, in Sacramento.

Seastrand's Associates

    See our page on Seastrand's known associates.  There is a long history between Seastrand and the Streng Brothers, who are developers, and big campaign contributors.  There is also a connection to Matthew Eason and Daniel Dowling. 

    People that have worked closely with Seastrand say he is the one in charge with minions working for him.  Larry and Nathan Odbert, J.R. Bassett, Raymond Dilg, are among the usual cast.

Seastrand, the Lawyer

   Al Seastrand appears to be a lawyer on retainer for his own operations and defending all the lawsuits against him. He does not list publicly where he got his law degree.  People that have filed complaints against him the state bar say the bar refuses to investigate, citing, "Mr. Seastrand was not your attorney (representing person filing complaint) the bar cannot discipline him."  People are advised to file a civil lawsuit.

Seastrand, the Real Estate Broker

   See above about complaints filed with the state bar.  People report to WJFA that their complaints of fraud to the California Department of Real Estate are met with the same dismissal that the because Seastrand did not represent them as a broker, DRE cannot discipline Seastrand. Filers are advised to file complaint with District Attorney's office, who tells people its not their jurisdiction.

Al Seastrand's Office

Al Seastrand and his wife, Loretta Seastrand, own, operate, or, are associated with dozens of corporations, business licenses, and trusts.

They use the slogan:"Pay to Stay, or Go Away."

She is typically the front person, acting as the manager, owner, trustee, etc, with Al Seastrand as the attorney representing the entities and or her.

Business as Usual

Seastrand has the following known business licenses: Construction Contractor, Notary, Attorney, and Real Estate Broker.

He owns and operates a foreclosure company called California Foreclosure Services, LLC., which is involved in numerous lawsuits for fraud.

Seastrand also used to write columns for small publications touting himself as an expert in Real Estate law and related issues. . Most publications have long ago cut ties with him.
