Also see Seastrand lawsuit page to see how Judge Holman issued a Court Order to show cause why Eason and Seastrand should not be held in contempt.

U.S. Judge Holman issued the order in November 2001 to hold Eason and Seastrand in contempt of court and be sanctioned for misconduct. Both pleaded on the mercy of the court claiming they didn't understand. The judge vacated the order. Contempt of Court.

An aspect the Holman case surfaces periodically with these two in their lawsuits is the opposing party's suspicion that Eason is not actually handling the case. Attorneys have said and pointed out judges, that Al Seastrand is Eason. Look closely at Eason's work when he's not representing Al Seastrand and the work on Seastrand's case and see if you see what others say they see.

In 2002 and 2003, Matthew Eason filed a claim for money in a bankruptcy case to get money using a nonexistent company. As of the posting of this page, no one from the U.S. Trustee's Office (fed agency) has filed an enforcement against Eason or Seastrand.

Case Number: 00-91513-A-7
Court: U.S. Court - Eastern District of California, Modesto Division
U.S. Judge Thomas Holman
Date: November 21, 2001

Judge Holman issued an order against Matthew Eason and Al Seastrand demanding they show good cause why they should not be held in Contempt of Court for misconduct and harassment in Al Seastrand’s illegal attempt to get money from David Hallum of Modesto. According to the court ruling, Seastrand illegally attempted to collect a debt; and Seastrand and Eason made false claims in their legal papers in order to get a favorable ruling. wrote about the duo: “They misstated the facts and the law...” The duo convinced the court it was an innocent mistake and it would not happen again.

(See Order. Also See Smoking Gun to see false claims these two filed that case, assuring Judge Hallum they would never do it again)
