Victims Denied Justice
Victories

WJFA is pleased to present the victories we've accomplished so far on behalf of victims seeking justice and or closure.

Many victims take solace in having their story told for the world to see that they do matter and what happened to them matters.

For other victims, they go one step further and utilize the power of the internet to pursue victory in receiving justice.

WJFA earns a victory each time it publicizes stories of victims denied justice, each time it exposes career criminals and their method of operation, each time it publicizes techniques for the public to protect themselves, and each time victims get justice.

The following are just some of the victories for justice earned by WJFA on behalf of victims denied justice.

Educating the Public
Justice
Providing a voice for victims
Exposing fraud
Shining a light on chronic denial of justice
System changes

Victory for Myrna Opsahl

Myrna Opsahl was slain during the SLA's bank robbery in 1974. Nearly 30 years later, it was the power of WJFA that helped Jon get public attention so he could finally get justice for his mother.

Victory for Irene Feaster

While Contra Costa County prosecutors denied Irene Feaster justice, she has won a different kind of victory. Her story on WJFA garnered her much public attention and neighbors and friends rallied around her to help. Because her story was so wrenching, new laws in California were implemented for stronger civil penalties against real estate predators. The Legislature referenced WJFA
